Science activities focus on exploring and investigating different phenomena by simple observations. For example, in the topic of plants, the children learn to identify different parts of the plant such as root and shoot. They also learn about the green colour of plants and the term photosynthesis.

Science activities focus more on thinking scientifically and making models of different concepts. For example, in the topic of plants, the children learn to collect and examine different parts of a plant. They also learn about the functions of different parts of a plant and do an experiment on the presence of starch in leaves.

Grade 5
Science activities are more complex and in-depth. They help the children learn the concepts in detail. For example, in the topic of plants, the children learn to study the different parts of a flower. They also learn to identify the male and female reproductive parts of a flower and understand the structure of a seed.
