1. Tilly The Tooth Fairy

Once upon a time, there was a tooth fairy named Tilly who loved to collect children’s teeth. She would visit them at night when they lost a tooth and leave a coin under their pillow. She was very proud of her collection and kept it in a special box in her home.

One night, she visited a boy named Ben who had lost his first tooth. She was about to take his tooth and leave a coin when she noticed something strange. His tooth was different from the other teeth she had seen before. It was small, sharp and pointed. She wondered what kind of tooth it was and why it looked so different.

2: Tilly visits Ben's Home

She decided to ask Ben about it the next day. She disguised herself as a human girl and knocked on his door. Ben opened the door and greeted her.

“Hello, I’m Tilly. I’m new in town and I’m looking for some friends. Can I play with you?” she asked.

“Sure, I’m Ben. Come in, I have some toys we can play with,” he said.

3 : The Lost Tooth

They went to his room and started playing with his cars and trucks. Tilly noticed that he had a gap in his front teeth where he had lost his tooth.

“Hey, you lost a tooth! Did the tooth fairy come last night?” she asked.

“Yes, she did! She left me a shiny coin under my pillow. Look!” he said, showing her the coin.

“That’s nice. Can I see your tooth?” she asked.

“Sure, here it is,” he said, taking out his tooth from his pocket.

4: The Incisor Tooth

Tilly took the tooth and examined it closely. She still couldn’t figure out what kind of tooth it was.

“What kind of tooth is this?” she asked.

“It’s an incisor,” he said.

“An incisor? What’s that?” she asked.

“It’s one of the four types of teeth that humans have. Don’t you know that?” he asked.

“No, I don’t. Tell me more,” she said.

“Okay, well, incisors are the teeth in the front of your mouth. They are good for biting and cutting food. Like this,” he said, biting an apple.

5 : The Canines

“I see. And what are the other types of teeth?” she asked.

“Well, next to the incisors are the canines. They are longer and sharper than the incisors. They are good for tearing and ripping food. Like this,” he said, tearing a piece of cooked meat.

6: The Premolars

“Wow, that’s cool. And then?” she asked.

“And then there are the premolars. They are behind the canines. They are good for crushing and grinding food. Like this,” he said, crushing a nut.

“Amazing. And finally?” she asked.

7 : The Molars

“And finally, there are the molars. They are at the back of your mouth. They are good for chewing and mashing food. Like this,” he said, chewing a piece of bread.

8: The Teeth need care

“Wow, you have four types of teeth! That’s so interesting! And they all have different functions!” she exclaimed.

“Yes, they do! And they all need to be taken care of properly,” he said.

“How do you take care of them?” she asked.

9 : Care makes your Teeth shine

“Well, you need to brush them twice a day with a toothbrush and toothpaste. That helps to remove plaque and bacteria that can cause cavities and gum disease. You also need to floss them once a day with dental floss. That helps to clean between your teeth where the toothbrush can’t reach. And you need to visit the dentist every six months for a check-up and cleaning. That helps to prevent any problems and keep your teeth healthy and strong,” he explained.

10: Shiny Teeth, Good Health

“That sounds like a lot of work,” she said.

“It’s not that tough once you get used to it. And it’s worth it because your teeth are very important for your health and appearance,” he said.

“I guess you’re right,” she said.

11 : Ben waits for the Tooth Fairy

They continued playing until it was time for Tilly to go home. She thanked Ben for teaching her about the four types of teeth and their functions. She gave him back his tooth and told him to keep it safe until the next night when the tooth fairy would come again.

12: The Tooth Fairy brings Tooth Home

Tilly went back to her home and put Ben’s tooth in her special box along with the other teeth she had collected over the years. She realized that she had learned something new and valuable that day. Tilly decided to learn more about human teeth and how to take care of them. She also decided to share her knowledge with the other tooth fairies and encourage them to do the same.
